T.G.I.Thursday!!!
My weekend is here a day early!!
Friday morning, I'm waking up with the birds. Jimmy & I will duke it out to see who gets the shower first. He'll probably win...because I won't have the energy to put up a good fight. Mornings aren't my 'thing' and I can't function until my head is sopping wet. Nothing like a shower to put the zip in my doodah.
This weekend I'm making my first appearance as a 'married woman'. It'll just be a little hard to tell that I am, because Jimmy isn't joining me. He has to work all weekend, making me the only 'single' married guest at my cousin Marc's wedding. But don't worry about me folks, my cousin Renee offered to share her date with me....nice eh? Too bad he's only 22.
Anyways, what are the rules now that I'm married? Can I still wear a cute outfit to the wedding? Or do I have go out and buy pant suits now? Keep in mind that I am not real sophisticated and grown up. (I mean, 21 year olds hit on me because they think they have a chance.) I've never been told I was beautiful or sexy like most women, just cute & fun and 'girl-like'. I CAN'T SETTLE with a closet full of married suits, at least not happily. Can I still wear sparkles????
Anyways, I'm off to pack my bag for this week-end.... And until I'm told otherwise, I'm wearing a really 'cute' outfit to the wedding. With sparkles!! LOL

I dress like a kid too. Yesterday a staff member at my school mistook me for a student. Oh, and apparently I also sound like a kid. Telemarketers frequently ask to "speak with my parents" when I answer the phone. Then when I tell them that my parents don't live here, they tell me not to be offended.
But, I think I'd rather have this happen than wear a pantsuit! ;) Stick with the sparkles.
Alright, 6:35am.....time for departure.
And with sparkles winning 2-0....I'm leaving the suit (that I don't even have in my possession behind) I'm gonna sparkle!!

Rock the cute outfits while you can! my lack of trendiness lately is not due to the fact that I am a Mrs...but because I am getting so damn fat. I don't look good in the cute clothes right now. So beware of the "married 15".
Similar to the "freshman 15" but w/o all the pot smoking.
Being married doesn't mean that you are now an un-sparkly kind of girl. Be yourself...go with glitter and your diamond! lol
I so do the same thing, what are the rules now that we're old married ladies??? (I'm 27 too) It's confusing, someone should write a manual.

Oh my crazy friend. There are no rules on what to wear just because you're married! You fool. Wear what makes you feel good. No need to wear memere clothes just yet. You're far from it! I know this is late but I'm hoping you went with FLAIR! Wedding, work, weekend - I say SPARKLE UP! And you are married... a sacrafice to the fashion gods. Sport your porn hair and make those college junior boys drool! As a 28 (almost 29 year old) I still get excited when I get carded - and they look VERy closely at my ID pic. LOL. Embrace your sexiness!
